Carrarese won the Ernesto Nicolini Tournament for the second consecutive year, defeating San Marco Avenza in the final. The team showed its strength and determination. The tournament was held for young players, and Carrarese and Spezia played against each other in the final. Carrarese won 1-0, thanks to a goal by Lorenzo Vetere, who was also awarded as the top scorer of the tournament. Lorenzo Di Trani was awarded as the best player of the tournament, while Achille Soldati was awarded as the best goalkeeper. Spezia came third, beating Seravezza in the final match. Montignoso and Castelnuovo Garfagnana came fifth and sixth respectively. The tournament was organized by Asd Tirrenia 1973, with the contribution of Fondazione Cassa Risparmio Carrara, and received compliments from the participating teams.
